I love to paint and draw and have been doing so since I was a child. As a teenager I always thought I'd continue my education and study art. But when it was time to decide 'what I wanted to be when I grew up' I decided that I needed to be 'realistic' regarding my future. So I ended up graduating with a degree in business management. It seems rediculous to me now but the bottom line is I chose that path out of fear of becoming 'a starving artist'! I always dreamed of having a business where I could create my own designs and sell them, but never believed it could really happen.

After college I had jobs in a variety of areas of the business world. I learned so much and I'm glad I studied business. All of those jobs became a stepping stone and a building block for me. Then a few years later I got married and my husband and I had 3 kids in 5 years! Whew! Talk about busy! But all was good and I was quite content with my happy little family life.

Then the time came for me to get back to the work world so I researched a variety of ideas. But the one option that worked best was to work from home. Afterall...my youngest child wasn't quite 2 years old yet and I didn't want to to ship him off to daycare just yet. So I logged onto the internet and began researching the idea of starting a business of my own. I was absolutely amazed at the amount of informaton that was out there! Being that I was a stay-at-home-mom with 3 children it was exciting to think I could possibly earn a second income while working from home. As I researched every possible avenue I noticed a recurring theme with almost everything I read...'do what you love'! Well, I followed that advice and years later...here I am! I am fulfilling my dreams and I couldn't be happier!
